Johnson K Mitey
NairobiJohnson K Mitey founded Mitey & Associates in 1980, bringing four decades of High Court experience to the practice. Antony K. Tonui
NairobiAntony advises on trusts, estates and succession, immigration and residency, property and conveyancing, diaspora transactions, and intellectual property and trademark matters before KIPI. His practice is built on close, collaborative work with clients — understanding not just the legal question in front of him, but the outcome a client is trying to reach, and mapping a clear path there. Clients working across borders find him a steady point of contact for property transactions and document legalization. Chirchir Chepkoech Mercy
BometMercy brings strategic, solution-oriented counsel to corporate and commercial matters, property conveyancing, tax and revenue law, civil litigation, trusts and succession, complex appellate advocacy, and diaspora services. Tole Rhoda Wakio
KerichoRhoda practices across trusts and succession, civil litigation, property and conveyancing, employment and labour relations, and small claims. Why does Mitey Law have two advocates’ practices?
Mitey & Associates and Mitey Tonui & Co are two distinct firms sharing a single office structure and one standard of care. This gives clients access to a wider bench of advocates and practice areas without needing to work with more than one point of contact.
How do I know which advocate is right for my matter?
Each advocate’s profile above lists their practice areas and admission details. If you’re unsure, you can also visit our Who We Help page, organized by client type, or simply contact any of our offices and we’ll direct your matter to the right advocate.
Do all advocates work from every office?
No. Each advocate is based at a specific office — Nairobi, Kericho, or Bomet — as listed on their profile and on the relevant location card above. Matters can often be handled remotely by phone, email, or video call regardless of which office you’re closest to.
What does “admitted to the High Court of Kenya” mean?
It means the advocate has met the qualifications required by the Law Society of Kenya and the Kenyan judiciary to practice law and represent clients in Kenyan courts. Each advocate’s admission year and LSK number are listed on their profile for reference.
Can I request a specific advocate?
Yes. If you know which advocate you’d like to work with, mention this when you contact us and we’ll do our best to accommodate your request, subject to that advocate’s availability and the nature of your matter.
